Zhang Wang is the first well-know digital Chinese painting artist, He is currently the associate Professor from Department of Art and Design College of Nankai University, presided over research work of the "Digital Chinese Painting Research Center" ; Director of Tianjin City Artists Association.
 
His individual works have been selected for the National Art Exhibition, the German Digital Art Festival, the Japan Animation Art Exhibition Match and other domestic exhibitions, and won major awards. He has published 5 art books from 2008. He has also designed the series of stamps ‘Huangmei Opera’ and ‘Zhu Geliang’ for the China Post.
